"Man is a wolf to man." This phrase, spoken in antiquity and reinterpreted by philosophers, no longer resonates as an accusation — but as a verdict on the human ego. The wolf kills to survive; man kills to dominate. We destroy not only animals but also our own kind — physically, psychologically, and socially. Behind the mask of civilization hides a hunter driven not by need, but by ambition: the desire for power, control, and domination. We rationalize killing — we call it the market, progress, the economy. We build systems to protect animals while simultaneously endorsing hunting for profit. By destroying the environment, we erase our reflection. Unlike beasts, man is capable of self-deception: he destroys while justifying it as a right, a duty, or “development.” And in this lies his greatest danger.

We are predators without measure, seeking salvation in total destruction. We have crowned ourselves with exclusivity — the pinnacle of evolution, the apex of the food chain — but this illusion blinds us to consequences. Severed from nature, we now operate in systems where life is a variable and profit is the goal. Civilization exists only on the surface; beneath it lies insatiable hunger. "Homo homini lupus est" is not a metaphor — it is a diagnosis. Man has become a threat to all life, including himself. If we do not change, the last victim will be us
